Fake or Real helps readers review public links using automated research. This notice describes the information used by the service.

Public scans

Submitted URLs, page screenshots, titles, research sources, scores and explanations are stored and displayed publicly. Do not submit private links, access tokens, passwords or sensitive personal information. Saved reports may remain in the public archive.

Google sign-in and account data

When you choose Google sign-in, we request your Google account identifier and verified email status to authenticate you. The application derives an internal account identifier from your Google identifier. It stores login sessions, joining date, scan allowances, credit balances and payment references. The current login implementation does not store your email address or Google access token in the account ledger. It does not request Gmail, Drive or contact access.

Cookies and abuse protection

Secure cookies identify your browser, protect the sign-in flow and maintain your login session. Login sessions last up to seven days. The service uses cryptographic identifiers derived from browser identity and IP address to enforce scan allowances; infrastructure providers may also retain technical logs. Likes and dislikes are associated with a browser identifier.

Service providers

Google provides sign-in and Gemini analysis. Firecrawl retrieves pages and screenshots, Tavily supplies research, and TypeSafe JEV evaluates evidence. Research may include other configured public-page retrieval services. Vercel hosts the application and private application storage. Submitted public links and relevant research text are processed by the providers used for that scan.

Payments

When payments are available, NervixPay processes the checkout. Payment references, plan, amount, network, recipient and confirmation status are used to verify credit grants. Blockchain transactions are public. Fake or Real does not request your wallet seed phrase or private key.

Your choices and contact

You may browse public reports without signing in. Sign out to end your local session. For privacy questions, correction or removal requests, contact semebitcoin@gmail.com and identify the relevant report or account. Do not send passwords or wallet secrets. Requests require review and, where appropriate, verification of account ownership.
